Dedicating his life to service, Andrew J. Shapiro, M.D., of Advanced Surgical Partners is a board-certified general surgery specialist, U.S. Army veteran and proud philanthropic partner for numerous causes in Palm Beach County including but not limited to volunteering his time to teach surgery at UM’s School of Medicine and volunteering to train canine companions at New Horizons Service Dogs.

Dr. Shapiro has completed over 1000 surgical procedures with the cutting edge da Vinci® robot – a minimally invasive system which guides a physician’s hand movements with a precise range of motion.

His mastery of this technology and his ability to perform complicated procedures with meticulous precision cements his status as a leader in the field of minimally invasive surgery and with his continued practice and advocacy of minimally invasive robotic surgery, he plans to continue striving towards greater heights for medical advancement and patient care.
