Anthony Lee, M.D., is a board-certified vascular surgeon and the chief of vascular surgery at The Christine E. Lynn Heart and Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He treats the entire range of vascular diseases, with an emphasis on complex thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections. Dr. Lee is also a clinical professor of surgery at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in Boca Raton, Florida. After earning his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, he completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at Stanford University. Dr. Lee has authored more than 30 book chapters, and nearly 130 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and served as the principal investigator in more than 25 medical device clinical trials. His clinical research focuses on the surgical repair of complex aortic aneurysms, and his team is currently studying the safety and efficacy of a novel, state-of-the-art aortic stent graft to treat aortic aneurysms.
