A fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Miriam Weisberg-Tannenbaum specializes in shoulder and elbow, treating pathology ranging from rotator cuff tendinitis and tears to joint replacement and revision arthoplasty.

“Medicine isn’t black and white, and neither are surgical options for patients,” said Dr. Weisberg-Tannenbaum, a graduate of Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. “I focus on patient-specific care that is guided by the individual’s personal goals within the spectrum of treatment options.”

A former athlete, it was Weisberg-Tannenbaum’s own injury, and the compassion she received from a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, that sparked her interest in medicine. Today, she aims to combine the empathetic care she once received with the latest technologies, including CT-guided surgical planning, custom implants, and cutting-edge techniques, to deliver patients the best possible outcomes.
