In addition to these necessary institutional improvements, our team has also completed many renovation projects in active facilities inclusive of clinic improvements, ward renovations, large-scale re-roofing projects of existing structures, ADA modifications, and hazardous materials abatement activities.

Recently, Pointer completed our 5th successful year performing construction contracts for the Department of Veterans Affairs under our 100M Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) serving the South Florida region. Over the course of this contract, Pointer has built a solid base of operations in the Florida marketplace and is committed to serving this region for years to come. Instrumental to our success is our dedicated team of professionals who are also prior-service veterans that are committed to serving their fellow veterans. One design-build project recently completed by our team for the Department of Veterans Affairs is a USP 797/800 Compliant Pharmacy Cleanroom at the Miami VA Medical Center. The design consisted of four compartments, Chemo Processing, Ante, IV and Prep areas, each having prescribed room pressures. The engineering controls include a primary HVAC system dedicated to the Cleanroom along with electrical service on emergency power. Secondary controls include redundant, welded stainless steel exhaust duct, fan systems and buffer zones along with supplemental controls such as the Chemo Hoods themselves (Class II BSC) all comprising this state of the art facility.
