A leading expert in the field of neurological surgery, Linda Sternau, M.D., has joined Memorial Healthcare System’s Neuroscience Center. In addition, Dr. Sternau will be part of the hospital’s level l Trauma Center.
Before joining Memorial Healthcare System, Dr. Sternau had been Chief of Neurosurgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center on Miami Beach since 2004. She had also been Chief of Neurosurgery at Miami Veterans Hospital from 1989 to 1996. In addition, she served as an assistant professor at the University of Miami in the Department of Neurosurgery and has been a staff neurosurgeon at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Mercy Hospital and Miami Children’s Hospital.
