In celebration of its expansion and acquisition of Parkway Regional Medical Center, the Public Health Trust recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome Parkway employees and patients into the Jackson Health System family. The Public Health Trust officially took ownership of Parkway on December 17th and renamed it Jackson North Medical Center.

Joining in the celebration were (l-r) Past Public Health Trust Chairman Larry R. Handfield, Esq.; Miami-Dade Commissioner Dorrin D. Rolle; Public Health Trust Chairman Ernesto de la Fé; North Miami Beach Mayor Raymond F. Marin; Jackson Health System CEO and Public Health Trust President Marvin O’Quinn; and State Representatives Wilbert “Tee” Holloway and Yolly Roberson.
