Robert M. Burton, ATC, LAT, has been awarded the “2006 Presidents Award” for dedication and hard work above and beyond the call of duty to the Athletic Trainers Association of Florida.

Burton is currently serving as Sports Medicine Coordinator for St. Lucie Medical Center. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Iowa in 1988. He then worked for the Seattle Mariners minor league system for one year, the New York Mets organization for three years and relocated to St. Lucie County with Healthsouth prior to joining St. Lucie Medical Center. Bob has completed his work and will receive his Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida on May 3, 2007
