The Boards of Trustees of Bethesda Memorial Hospital and Bethesda Healthcare System, Inc., are pleased to announce that Roger L. Kirk has been named the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Bethesda Memorial Hospital and Bethesda Healthcare System, Inc.

 

Kirk joined Bethesda in 1988 as Vice President, Operations. He was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 1994. Prior to Bethesda, Kirk was a Vice President for the Voluntary Hospitals of America (VHA).

 

Kirk received his Master of Arts in Health Care Administration from George Washington University, in Washington, DC. Among his professional interests, Kirk serves on the Board of Directors of VHA Southeast, is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and past chairman of the Board of the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and a member of Rotary International.
