Dr. Abraham Betancourt is a board-certified general and bariatric surgeon on staff at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL. He is also a member of the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group. He specializes in advanced minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures. His clinical focus is GI surgery, which includes bariatric surgeries, such as gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy, alongside the treatment of complex gastrointestinal conditions like GERD, gastroparesis, achalasia and abdominal wall hernias.

Dr. Betancourt earned his medical degree from the University of Carabobo before completing his residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. He further refined his expertise through a specialized fellowship in Advanced Gastrointestinal and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Florida followed by Robotic Surgery fellowship at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
