Dr. Brian Slomovitz is a nationally recognized gynecologic oncologist and clinical investigator who leads Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Division of Gynecologic Oncology, which currently supports more than 20 active clinical trials, expanding access to advanced cancer care locally for patients across South Florida. In a recent Phase II study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, led by Dr. Slomovitz in collaboration with the GOG Foundation, researchers evaluated a chemotherapy-free treatment strategy for women with recurrent low-grade serous ovarian cancer, demonstrating meaningful disease control in a setting with historically limited options. In 2026, he also began leading a novel first-line maintenance clinical trial in metastatic cervical cancer, investigating an antibody-drug conjugate in combination with immunotherapy to address persistent unmet needs. Colleagues recognize Dr. Slomovitz for advancing precision oncology while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
