Katie Walter brings to Catholic Home Health Services a remarkable life of service shaped by compassion and faith. A loving mother, devoted daughter, honorable veteran, and dedicated nurse, Katie began her path of service in Dominica before serving with distinction as an Army nurse. For more than 47 years, nursing has remained her calling.
Throughout her career, Katie has continued to grow in clinical excellence, earning specialized certifications in IV therapy, PICC line care, and wound care to better serve her patients. Since joining Catholic Home Health Services in 2022, she has been known for her compassionate, holistic approach, recognizing that healing involves not only physical care, but emotional, social, and spiritual support as well.
Guided by her Catholic faith, Katie is deeply committed to patient education, family support, and helping each person take an active role in recovery. Respected by colleagues and treasured by patients, she brings dignity, wisdom, and genuine kindness to every encounter.
