Anjelis Oliveira is chief nursing officer at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital, a 126-bed acute care hospital in Sebring, Florida. The Joint Commission-accredited hospital specializes in orthopedic and spine care, urology, cardiac catheterization and minimally invasive surgery.
With more than 20 years of nursing experience, Oliveira is known for leading with integrity, empathy and accountability while fostering environments where nurses feel supported to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care. Most recently, she served as assistant chief nursing officer at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, overseeing operational and clinical leadership across high-acuity care areas with a focus on quality, safety, workforce engagement, regulatory readiness and performance. She previously served as Magnet program director, medical/surgical director, and director of emergency services for the Doral and Town & Country freestanding emergency rooms. Oliveira holds a doctorate in nursing and serves as adjunct nursing faculty at St. Thomas University, helping develop future nurse leaders.
