Neva Spencer is chief nursing officer of HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, a 497-bed acute care hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida, offering Level II trauma care, Level III neonatal services, pediatric emergency and intensive care, comprehensive stroke services, minimally invasive surgery, and a freestanding emergency room in Vero Beach.

Before joining Lawnwood Hospital in 2026, Spencer served as chief nursing officer at HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie, associate chief nursing officer at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, and senior director of nursing for Banner Health in Phoenix. She became a nurse practitioner at age 23.

She earned a doctor of nursing practice from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, a master of science in nursing from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and a bachelor of science in nursing from Beth-El College of Nursing, and holds a neonatal nurse practitioner certificate.
