After 34 years at Baptist Health, Dr. Maria Suarez is now working as adjunct faculty at Miami Dade College and Arizona College of Nursing, and as a Medical Investigator at the law firm of Grossman, Roth, Yaffa, and Cohen. She values the opportunity to teach current and future nurses, sharing the depth of experience she developed over her clinical career. As a medical investigator, Dr. Suarez has gained a much keener appreciation for the intersection of healthcare and the legal system. She grew up in Miami and is a graduate of local nursing programs. Dr. Suarez has been active in the Nursing Consortium of Florida for many years, contributing to conference planning efforts and providing leadership during the pandemic.
