Dr. Michael Worley Jr. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, gynecologic oncologist. He is a women’s cancer specialist with expertise in complex open surgery, as well as minimally invasive surgery. Before joining Jupiter Medical Center, he served as the Director of Ovarian Cancer Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.

He received his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine, completed his internship and residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, NY, and his fellowship training took place at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.

While in Boston, he was an assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. In addition, he established the first Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) protocol for ovarian cancer at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
