After leaving nursing school, Carolyn worked in a Philadelphia hospital, teaching and training nursing aides – a role that deepened her passion for caring for others. She then stepped away to raise her two wonderful children before finding joy in the jewelry industry, helping people choose treasures that hold special meaning. That same love of connection makes volunteering at the Thrift Shop’s jewelry department so fulfilling today. Along the way, she also volunteered with Meals on Wheels, delivering not just meals but kindness and companionship. Each chapter of her journey has been about service, love and bringing a little light into people’s lives.

In addition to the Jupiter Medical Center Thrift Shop, Carolyn volunteers in the Surgical Lounge, GI waiting room and the Volunteer Escort Desk. She has accumulated over 5,770 hours of service.
