The South Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners that oversees all actions of Memorial Healthcare System elected its officers at the July board meeting. Kevin P. Tynan was elected Chairman, Kathleen A. Durham was elected Vice-Chairman, and Sara E. Wolfer, RN, MS, FACHE was elected Secretary-Treasurer. The board members serving alongside the officers are Albert C. Jones, Laura R. Miller and Carlos J. Reyes.

Kevin P. Tynan is a partner in the law firm of Richardson & Tynan, P.L.C. and concentrates his practice within the field of legal ethics and professional responsibility.

Kathleen A. Durham Durham is vice president and market manager in the Davie/Plantation area for Regent Bank.

Sara E. Wolfer, who joined the South Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners in 2004, has a wide range of experience in healthcare, having worked as a nurse, a professor, and administrator for hospitals and governmental agencies.
