June 17, 2026- Ricky Ramirez is named to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital. In this role, Ramirez will manage daily operations and oversee the development and implementation of long-range plans, goals and objectives for the hospital.

Ramirez recently served as the Chief Nursing Officer at fellow Palm Beach Health Network hospital, West Boca Medical Center. He returns to St. Mary’s and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital, where he held the position of Assistant Chief Nursing Officer. He joined Tenet Health in 2014.
Ramirez holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University.
