Bruce Rendina announces a $1 million donation from the Rendina Family Foundation to St. Rose Dominican Hospitals. The donation will benefit St. Rose Dominican Hospitals new San Martín Campus on the corner of Warm Springs and Durango. The new hospital will open in summer 2006.

“I feel very fortunate to have the ability to do something like this, Bruce A. Rendina said. “While I am very selective with where funds from the Rendina Family Foundation go, I cannot think of a better organization to contribute to than St. Rose Dominican Hospitals. This hospital is also close to my heart as my mother’s name is Rose. This is a beautiful facility that has incorporated a tremendous amount of planning and thinking on behalf of their patients. St. Rose Dominican Hospitals and all of Catholic Healthcare West serve as a model through their dedication to providing patient friendly hospitals and we are pleased to be involved with this organization.”

In appreciation for Rendina’s generous donation, the Healing Garden at the San Martín Campus will be named the Rendina Family Foundation Healing Garden. The Garden includes a water fixture, lush grounds and beautiful, fragrant trees and flowers. The Healing Garden serves as a place of rest and reflection for patients, employees and visitors.
