Tampa General continues its lecture series, “Caring for Ourselves and Our Planet – Together,” in collaboration with Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
Juno Beach, Fla. – October 28, 2025 – Tampa General Hospital (TGH) invites the community to a free public event, “Filtering the Facts: What You Should Know About Kidney Health.” The panel will feature a urological surgeon, a nephrologist, and a genetics specialist who will lead an in-depth discussion on how to recognize, prevent, and manage common kidney conditions.

WHO: Daniel Caruso, MD, MBA, is a board-certified urological surgeon with TGH Advanced Urology Care in Jupiter, Fla. He specializes in advanced urological procedures, pelvic reconstruction, and treating kidney, bladder, prostate, and testicular cancers.
Imtiaz Ather, DO, is a board-certified nephrologist with TGH Advanced Kidney Care in West Palm Beach and Jupiter, Fla. He is an award recipient, published author, and an active member of the American Society of Nephrology.
Catherine Marinak, APRN, directs the Hereditary Risk Assessment & Early Detection program at TGH Cancer Institute | Cancer Center of South Florida, with locations in Palm Springs and Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Board-certified in oncology, she trained at Fox Chase, Harvard, and City of Hope.
