A board-certified medical oncologist, Patterson’s expertise will expand the leading-edge

West Palm Beach, FL – April 22, 2025 – TGH Cancer Institute | Cancer Center of South Florida (CCSF) welcomes board-certified medical oncologist Dr. Stephen G. Patterson to its practice, effective April 1. He specializes in treating patients with prostate, bladder, kidney and lung cancers.
Patterson is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and has more than 30 years of experience in both academic and community medicine. He received his medical degree, completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in medical oncology and hematology – all at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.
“I look forward to joining such an esteemed group of practitioners dedicated to providing patients with leading-edge care fueled by the latest advancements in academic medicine,” Patterson said.
Patterson has lectured nationally, conducted extensive research, participated in clinical trials and published many works on prostate, testicular, kidney, bladder and lung cancers. He was also one of the first clinical investigators to study the impact of PD1 modulation in metastatic lung cancer and melanoma, a therapy that modulates the immune system to fight cancer.
