January 30, 2026 – The Our Fund Foundation awarded $440,000 through its annual LGBTQ+ Health & Wellness Fund in support of 15 innovative, LGBTQ+-specific programs in Broward and Miami-Dade counties during a celebratory reception at the Gray Box Theater in Wilton Manors on January 28.
Grant awards, ranging from $20,000 to $40,000 per recipient, will advance initiatives designed to improve health outcomes and promote equity across South Florida’s LGBTQ+ community.
“With drastic federal funding cuts and Florida’s anti-LGBTQ and anti-equality laws continuing to inflict harm on our community, it is more imperative than ever to provide responsive, relevant, and impactful grantmaking,” said David Jobin, president & CEO of The Our Fund Foundation. “We are deeply grateful to our generous donors and legacy members whose support makes these critical investments possible.”

We provide free, affirming mental health care and emergency basic needs support to ~150 LGBTQ youth and their families in Miami-Dade County each year. - Broward House

Out and Tested delivers stigma-free mobile HIV testing in LGBTQ+ spaces, expanding prevention and care access for underserved groups. - Health Council of South Florida
SHIFT 4 Youth (S4Y)
SHIFT 4 Youth provides housing, resources, and holistic services for unhoused LGBTQIA+ young people and youth living with HIV in Miami-Dade. - Jewish Community Services of South Florida
JCS Lambda Living is dedicated to enhancing the lives of LGBTQIA+ adults aged 55 and older by fostering community, promoting well-being, and providing affirming, inclusive services. - Latinos Salud
providing client-centered, culturally competent health education and integrated preventive, screening, and healthcare services throughout South Florida - OUT MY CLOSET
Queer Men’s Empowerment Workshops & Community Outreach
Evidence-based workshops tackling HIV, depression, substance use & isolation to support queer men of color’s health in South Florida. - Poverello Center
Serves individuals in need with a focus on those living with HIV or other chronic illnesses in South Florida, through a holistic and compassionate approach. - Pride Center at Equality Park

Survivor Wellness Program
A trauma-informed healing space for QTPOC survivors via a book club & wellness workshops for emotional, physical & spiritual well-being. - SunServe

Sunshine Cathedral’s Food Sharing Outreach ensures that food insecure community members receive needed food, care, and connection. - TransInclusive Group
grassroots, Black Trans-led organization rooted in advocacy, equity, and community-centered service for Black and Brown transgender, LGBQ+ and cisgender women - TransSOCIAL
TransSOCIAL’s mission centers on advocating for the transgender community while simultaneously serving the broader TLGBQ+ spectrum. - YES Institute
Our mission is to prevent suicide and ensure the healthy development of all youth through powerful communication and education on gender and orientation.

Special thanks to The Warten Foundation, a cornerstone of philanthropy in South Florida dedicated to honoring the legacy of its late founder, Fredrick Warten, by supporting LGBTQ+ organizations and causes along with Tuesday’s Angels Donor-Advised Fund. As part of formal dissolution, Tuesday’s Angels transferred its remaining assets to The Our Fund Foundation to specifically grant funding to agencies directly serving South Floridians living with HIV/AIDS and provide vital and compassionate care.
