Florida International University’s Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work is committed to recognizing outstanding South Floridians who are working to improve and maintain the health of the community. The Path Awards was established to recognize individuals and organizations in public health, social work, and dietetics for their contributions and commitment to promoting and protecting the health of the South Florida community. The awards also serve to raise the community’s awareness and understanding of the contributions made by public health professionals.
The awards categories are Health Policy & Management, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Epidemiology and Infectious Disease, Environmental and Occupational Health, Community Nutrition, Social Work and the Robert Stempel Award.

To be considered eligible for this award each individual must be a Florida resident who works in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade or Monroe Counties and must have made outstanding and sustained contributions on behalf of the community.
The Path Awards Ceremony will be held April 5 at Florida International University Graham Center Ballroom, 11200 SW 8th St., Miami.
