Quantum House was honored to receive a $10,000 grant from the Wachovia Foundation. This contribution will go towards the general operating fund to run the House. Unlike other organizations the facility of Quantum House is the actual program.

The main objective at Quantum House is to ensure that the family can spend as much time as possible with their critically ill or injured child, while making sure that their basic living needs are being met. When a child becomes critically ill or injured, the whole family suffers, especially if the child must be hospitalized or receive treatment far from home for weeks or months at a time. Financially, these are critical times for our families. The House strives to reduce stress and financial hardship that occurs when a child is hospitalized. The Quantum House families do not have to worry about where they will lay their heads at night or where they will get their next hot meal. The family’s sole focus can be on their hospitalized child.
