Thomas A. McGrath, M.B.A., an experienced medical center administrator, has joined the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine as Chief Operating Officer of UHealth – University of Miami Health System. He was previously the director of finance and administration for Stanford University’s Department of Medicine. McGrath also served as vice president of University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital, and executive administrator for the Department of Medicine at the university’s Pritzker School of Medicine.McGrath earned a bachelor of arts in philosophy and master of business administration in finance from the University of Illinois.
