November 27, 2023 -HCA Florida Healthcare JFK and JFK North Hospital are pleased to introduce our new board members, Dr. Tunjarnika L. Coleman-Ferrell, Dr. Fabiana DesRosiers and Veronica Vidal.

Dr. Coleman-Ferrell, EdD., is the vice president of academic affairs at Palm Beach State College, and has thirty years of experience in a multi-campus system at the college and university levels. Currently she oversees all academic disciplines across a multi-campus system, encompassing associate and baccalaureate degrees, certificate programs and workforce training.
Dr. Coleman-Ferrell grew up in Riviera Beach, Florida.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology, a master’s degree in public administration, an educational specialist postgraduate degree and a doctorate in education, all from Florida Atlantic University. Her expertise spans strategic planning, curriculum programming, resource development, fiscal management, grants oversight and team building.
Dr. Coleman-Ferrell initiates community partnerships between Palm Beach State College, the school district, businesses and municipalities statewide that advance student outcomes. She prides herself on being committed to her community as a champion of equal access to education and a change agent for underrepresented students.
We look forward to working with Dr. Coleman-Ferrell on community outreach and impact. She will be a vital voice as a board member for HCA Florida.
Dr. DesRosiers is an Applied Developmental Psychologist with more than 25 years in higher education. Most recently, she was the Chief Executive Officer of The Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County and is now the Chief Executive Officer of the Hispanic Human Resources Council in West Palm Beach, FL. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Binghamton University and her Masters and Ph.D. from Fordham University. Her areas of specialization are in toddlerhood and adolescence, especially within the Hispanic population.
Dr. DesRosiers has worked with many organizations throughout the Palm Beach community. We look forward to working collaboratively with Dr. DesRosiers to make a positive impact in the community we serve. She is fully dedicated to engaging our partners, supporters, and the community at large to strengthen the lives of individuals and families in all of Palm Beach County.

Veronica Vidal is the Founder and CEO of Custom Cleaning and Management Services (CCMS) a Cleaning Contractor head-quartered in Palm Beach County. Immigrating from Argentina, she arrived in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in Stage Design from the University of El Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina to working her way to completing the Excellence Management from Harvard University Business School in 2021.
Ms. Vidal currently serves on the Business Partnership Council for Palm Beach State College, The Board of Directors for the Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce where she was recently appointed to be its representative in Washington, DC for the small business legislature Summits. She also serves on The Board of Director Florida Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors for the National Association of Women in Construction – Chapter Greater Palm Beach.
Ms. Vidal’s dedication to her community and participation amongst a variety of local organizations has allowed her to be a devoted member in the West Palm Beach area. We are thrilled to have Ms. Vidal as a part of our Board of Directors here at HCA Florida.
