The event to benefit the hospital’s PICU returns after a three-year hiatus during the pandemic

FORT MYERS, Fla. October 12, 2023 – Tickets are available for the 11th Annual Golisano Children’s Hospital Fashion Show to be held Nov. 10 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs. The annual fundraiser, that was on hiatus from 2020-2022 during the pandemic, will support Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The only PICU between Tampa and Miami provides care to critically ill or injured children, adolescents and young adults from birth to 21 years old.

“We are grateful for your support as we fashion the future of care at Golisano Children’s Hospital,” said Alyssa Bostwick, chief nursing and operations executive for Golisano Children’s Hospital. “With the growth of our community in recent years, there is a need for an increase in pediatric services that require critical care. In the future we will need to expand our Pediatric ICU to meet these needs so that we can care for the most critically ill children and keep families close to home.”

A silent auction begins at 10:30 a.m., with the luncheon at 11:45 a.m. and fashion show at 1 p.m. Fashion from Fort Myers to Naples to be modeled by hospital patients and families, Lee Health leadership and community supporters and provided by Trader Rick’s, Chico’s, Dillard’s, Lilly Pulitzer, Jennifer’s, Casual Connections, LuLu Belle and Well Read Department Store. Boutiques that have participated every year since the event started include Evelyn & Arthur, Kay’s on the Beach and Mondo Uomo. Hair and makeup are provided by Felix Andrew Salon.
