Tony Andrulonis, M.D., has been named medical director of emergency medicine at Baptist Hospital in Kendall.

Prior to working at Baptist Hospital, Dr. Andrulonis was a clinical assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Emergency Medicine, and most recently he was the assistant medical director of Emergency Services at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines. He is currently co-director of the Florida Task Force 2 Urban Search and Rescue medical team and was deployed to New York City for 9/11 and to New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
