September 13, 2025 – Broward Health’s freestanding emergency department in Lighthouse Point has made significant progress. The structure has been topped out, and our partners at The Beck Group will begin work on the interior.
Once complete, this state-of-the-art facility will be staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and specialized nurses, providing the community with the same high-quality emergency care available at a hospital-based department, along with seamless access to the full Broward Health system.
The facility is expected to be completed in Spring 2026.
