Holy Cross Hospital President and CEO Patrick A. Taylor, M.D., announced that Drs. Robert Ansara and Rebecca Rey have joined the Holy Cross Medical Group.

 

Dr. Robert Ansara joined the Holy Cross Medical Group from private practice with the Pompano Beach-based Family Physicians of South Florida group. Conversant in Spanish, he has been practicing medicine for 10 years and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Ansara completed a residency in family medicine at Florida Hospital in Orlando and internship in general surgery at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, NY. At Florida Hospital, he served as the residency recruiting chairperson for the family medicine program.

 

Dr. Rebecca Rey also joined the Holy Cross Medical Group from the Pompano Beach-based Family Physicians of South Florida group, where she was a physician and a partner. A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association, Rey is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and also certified in administering Botox/Dysport and dermal fillers. Fluent in Spanish, she completed her residency in family medicine at Florida Hospital, where she served as chief resident and co-chairperson of the Florida Hospital Primary Care Update Committee.
