Onelia G. Lage, M.D., associate professor of clinical pediatrics and director of adolescent medical education and community health at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, has been elected vice-chair of the Florida Board of Medicine for 2009. She is the first Hispanic woman to serve in that position.
