Ralph Sacco, M.D., M.S., Miller Professor of Neurology and Epidemiology and Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, received the 2007 Chairman’s Award of the American Heart Association. Dr. Sacco was recognized for his invaluable leadership in achieving the organization’s vital goals through the creation of innovative community-based programs to combat stroke.
