| West Boca Medical Center recently announced the recipients of its 2007 Physician Recognition Awards. The winners are Feyisola Awonusonu, M.D., Kenneth Rosenthal, M.D., Ronald Laracuente, M.D., and Melvyn Karp, M.D. |
 Dr. Awonusonu, of Weston, is a neonatologist who has been at the hospital since 2000 and the first “three-peat” winner of the award. Dr. Awonusonu also won in 2005 and 2006. |
 Dr. Karp, of Coral Springs, is a pediatric surgeon who has been at the hospital since 1990. |
 Dr. Laracuente, of Coral Springs, is an internist who has been on staff at WBMC since 2000. |
 Dr. Rosenthal, of Boca Raton, is a gastroenterologist who has been on staff at the hospital since it opened in 1986. |
