December 12, 2025 – West Boca Medical Center is expanding its heart care capabilities with the opening of a brand-new, state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab later this month. As part of a multi-million dollar investment in advanced cardiovascular services, the hospital will perform its first procedure on December 16th, marking a significant milestone in enhancing access to critical cardiac care for patients in southern Palm Beach County.
The new cardiac catheterization lab will allow West Boca Medical Center’s cardiac specialists to perform minimally invasive procedures used to diagnose and evaluate heart conditions, including coronary artery disease.

Equipped with the latest in imaging technology, the new lab will provide real-time visualization of the heart and vascular system, enabling highly accurate assessments of complex cardiac conditions.
