July 8, 2024 – WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System (WPBVAHCS), in partnership with Mission United, United Way of Palm Beach County and Guardians of the Glades, is pleased to announce its upcoming Summer Vet Fest, scheduled for July 10, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lake Shore Civic Center, 1224 SW Avenue E Pl, Belle Glade, FL 33430.
The event will commence with doors opening at 9 a.m., followed by a welcome from the Executive Leadership and community partners available for support and education.
The event aims to inform and support our nation’s Veterans, loved ones, and caregivers by showcasing a wide range of VA services and community resources available to include the history-making PACT Act expansion and on-the-spot Toxic Exposure Screenings, employment resources, and more.
This is a golden opportunity to learn, engage, and connect with services tailored to the unique needs of Veterans within the Belle Glade community over complimentary beverages and food.
