SEPTEMBER 27, 2023 – The West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System (WPBVAHCS) is proud to announce the 5-star overall Community Living Center (CLC) Compare rating achieved at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center campus.
CLC Compare is a star rating system adapted from Centers from Medicare and Medicaid in which a facility is rated between 1-5 stars and serves as a mechanism to benchmark both VA and community facilities together.
The rating is determined based upon the outcomes within three domains which include the following: Unannounced Survey Performance; Staffing, and Quality Measures. The WPBVAHCS CLC achieved a five-star rating across all three domains, reflecting the highest level of performance possible.
“The 5-Star rating is a driving force to create an exceptional experience for Veterans that focuses on continuously raising standards and delivering the highest quality care,” said WPBVAHCS Executive Director Cory Price. “The CLC is home to long-stay Veterans where bonds are built, and memories are made. The team ensures the comfort and safety of all residents around the clock.”
The CLC provides Short-Stay Rehabilitation, Short-Stay Skilled Nursing Care, Short-Stay Continuing Care, Long-Stay Continuing Care, Hospice, Palliative, and Respite Care [as pictured].
