The YMCA of South Florida, in partnership with the University of Miami Department of Community Service (DOCS), will host a FREE Health Fair at the L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center, 1409 NW 6th Street, in Fort Lauderdale. The fair will take place from 8 am through 2 pm and is open to everyone, regardless of legal and insurance status. All services provided are confidential.
Services include breast exams, blood pressure measurement, blood sugar/diabetes testing, bone density screening, colon cancer screening, cholesterol testing, child health education, dental screenings, skin cancer screenings, HIV & hepatitis C screenings, pap smears, men’s health screenings, emergency preparedness, and physical therapy.
