The Palm Beach County Medical Society Services honored the 2010 Heroes in Medicine at a luncheon on May 6. The Heroes were selected by a volunteer panel in recognition of their outstanding contributions to healthcare in Palm Beach County. The 2010 Heroes of the Year are Mary Jo Higgins – Dr. Jay Lee Community Outreach; Eric Kelly – Bruce Rendina Professional; Adrea Guaglione – Healthcare Provider; Jay Midwall, M.D. – Physician Advancements in the Profession of Medicine; and Serge Thys, M.D., Physician International Humanitarian.
