The University of Miami Executive MBA is celebrating its fortieth-year anniversary. As one of the very first business school-based health management programs in the United States, the program proudly counts over 1,000 highly successful regional and national CEOs, vice presidents, physicians and nurse executives, research directors and entrepreneurs amongst its alumni. The program is one of only a handful of programs in the U.S. that has achieved dual accreditation; accreditation by The Assembly Accreditation by Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Executives (CAHME). Further, the Miami Business School Program is a member of the highly prestigious Business Alliance for Health Management Education (BAHM), a select group of global business school-based programs that have met certain strict quality criteria.

The University of Miami has been proud to draw some of the finest faculty with national reputations and hands on experience to our program. Faculty includes Dr. Richard Clarke, former President and CEO of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Dr. Janet Porter, one of the most highly regarded professors in the area of Health Care Strategy and former COO of the prestigious Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Dr. Donna Shalala, former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services.
 
Our research focused faculty, graduates from the very top Ph.D. programs in the field, are frequent contributors to local, national, and global research journals, present their research all over the world, and bring their cutting-edge research findings into the classroom. Guided by an Advisory Board made up of 25 regional, national and global health care leaders from the broad spectrum of the health care industry, our programs and our students are assured education and training that is truly cutting edge.
 
Working off of the success of the Executive program, the Miami Business School now offers a Masters in Health Management and Policy program, a program focused on recent graduates and early career professionals from a variety of disciplines who are looking to enhance their knowledge and skill set in order to grow in the health care field.
