Boca Raton, Fla. – July 25, 2023 – David G. Deliberato, DO, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint reconstruction and robotic-assisted minimally invasive hip and knee replacement, has joined Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group (PBHNPG) in Boca Raton. Dr. Deliberato also specializes in unicondylar (partial) knee replacement, muscle-sparing anterior hip replacement, hip and knee osteoarthritis and knee arthroscopy. In addition, Dr. Deliberato performs revision hip and knee replacement, complex reconstructive surgery, including failed joint replacement surgery, complex fracture care and treatment for orthopedic trauma injuries. He also provides non-surgical management of orthopedic injuries. Dr. Deliberato is on-staff at West Boca Medical Center and Delray Medical Center.
Prior to joining PBHNPG, Dr. Deliberato worked as an orthopedic surgeon at the Miami Institute for Joint Reconstruction. For his education and training, Dr. Deliberato completed a fellowship in joint reconstruction at SUNY Buffalo, located in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Deliberato finished his residency in orthopedic surgery at OhioHealth, Columbus, OH. He graduated medical school from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine – Bradenton Campus located in Bradenton, FL.
Dr. Deliberato completed extensive training and has experience in using computer-navigated surgery and robotics. He received his CORI Robotic Certification in hip, knee and revision surgery from Smith & Nephew. Dr. Deliberato has also earned certification in total knee, partial knee and total hip replacement from Stryker Mako SmartRobotics™. He completed additional courses in hip and knee arthroplasty, operative fracture treatment, circular fixation, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and lower extremity trauma.
Dr. Deliberato has authored several peer-reviewed research articles published in numerous medical journals. He has been practicing medicine since 2015. Dr. Deliberato is a Member, American Osteopathic Association, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and International Congress for Joint Reconstruction (ICJR). He is also a mentor for the Young Arthroplasty Group mentoring young arthroplasty surgeons.
