Florida Coast Medical Center, the highly anticipated new hospital scheduled to open in Port St. Lucie this September, has officially named its inaugural Governing Board. This diverse and accomplished group of leaders will play a vital role in guiding the hospital’s mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to the Treasure Coast community.
The inaugural board members include:
- Dr. William Carlson, Board Chair – Orthopedic Surgeon, South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine
- Dr. Phillip Moyer, Vice Chair – General Surgeon, Tenet Physician Resources (TPR)
- Dr. Eric Lieberman – National and Regional Director of Cardiology, Tenet Healthcare and Chief Medical Officer, Palm Beach Health Network
- Libby Flippo – Community Member and Former Chief Nursing Officer, Palm Beach Health Network
- Dr. Joseph Gage, Chief of Staff – Stuart Cardiology Group
- Shannon Martin – Mayor, City of Port St. Lucie
- Ron Guerrero – Director, St. Lucie County Public Safety Department
- Maggie Gill – Group President, Tenet Healthcare
- Tyler Sherill – CEO, Florida Coast Medical Center
