September 15, 2026 – The Palm Beach & Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross announced its new Board of Directors Executive Committee for the 2026–2027 term.
Chris Grenier, Jay Silpe and Marissa Gleockler will serve in leadership roles on the Executive Committee, helping guide a board of local business and civic leaders who give their time, expertise and compassion in support of Red Cross humanitarian services.
“The Palm Beach & Treasure Coast Chapter is fortunate to be guided by an exceptional Executive Committee whose leadership reflects the very best of our mission and community,” said Traci Mitchell, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Palm Beach & Treasure Coast Chapter. “Under the leadership of Board Chair Chris Grenier, alongside Vice Chair Jay Silpe and Secretary Marissa Gleockler, we have assembled a team of seasoned leaders whose experience, passion and commitment to service will help propel our chapter forward. After a year focused on positioning our chapter for growth, this outstanding group is ready to build on that momentum and advance our FY27 theme of Upward & Onward. I am excited about what we will accomplish together on behalf of the communities we serve.”
Together, the Executive Committee will help advance the Red Cross mission throughout Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast, strengthening preparedness, community partnerships and support for those affected by emergencies and disasters.
Chris Grenier was recently appointed Vice President of Labor Relations at Vestis Corporation, following several years as an executive at Carrier in Palm Beach Gardens and an attorney in private practice. As a West Palm Beach area resident, he continues his commitment to service as a dedicated American Red Cross Disaster Cycle Services volunteer, driving Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) and supporting disaster relief operations for families impacted by emergencies. Grenier is passionate about giving back to his community and supporting the Red Cross mission.
Jay Silpe is President of Gimco USA, a Lake Worth Beach-based export distribution company serving the aid, relief, development and peacekeeping industries. For many years he has also served as a dedicated American Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteer, responding to local disasters and helping families begin their recovery journey when they need support most. An active community leader, Silpe serves as Chair of the chapter’s Community Mobilization Committee and has helped build partnerships to reach vulnerable communities throughout the area.
Marissa Gleockler is Chief Development and Communications Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on community partnerships, fundraising and marketing.
Inspired by her family’s experience receiving Red Cross assistance after Hurricane Katrina, Marissa brings both personal passion and professional expertise to her service. Her deep connections throughout St. Lucie County have helped the American Red Cross forge meaningful partnerships and strengthen its reach across the Treasure Coast, advancing the organization’s ability to serve those in need.
