September 22, 2026 – As Clinics Can Help continues to expand its reach to connect more South Florida residents with essential medical equipment, the nonprofit is strengthening its development efforts with the addition of Megan Massacci as Senior Director of Development. A veteran of healthcare philanthropy with more than 20 years of experience, Massacci joins Clinics Can Help with a career built around cultivating relationships, engaging donors and connecting community members with causes that create meaningful, measurable impact.
Massacci’s appointment comes as Clinics Can Help continues to grow and increase access to medical equipment for children, adults, seniors, and veterans. In her new role, she will lead the organization’s development strategy, with a focus on expanding philanthropic support, elevating events, building long-term donor relationships and creating new partnerships that will help Clinics Can Help reach even more people in need.

Prior to joining Clinics Can Help, Massacci spent nearly a decade with University Hospitals in Cleveland. After relocating to South Florida, she served as Director of Development with Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami, where she focused on donor engagement and philanthropic partnerships throughout Palm Beach County.
Throughout her career, Massacci has worked to bring individuals, families, foundations and community partners together around opportunities to make a difference. She said her move to Clinics Can Help was a natural fit given the organization’s direct impact on individuals and families.
“What drew me to Clinics Can Help is the immediacy of the mission,” said Massacci. “The equipment we provide can change what someone is able to do every day — whether that means helping a child become more mobile, giving an adult greater independence or providing a family with something they simply could not afford on their own. I’m excited to introduce more people in our community to this mission and show them the many ways they can be part of the impact.”

Through its three core programs, Clinics Can Help collects, refurbishes and redistributes durable medical equipment to children and adults in need, provides specialized equipment and supplies to families of children with special needs through the Kinder Project, and helps ensure that babies have a safe place to sleep through its Cribs for Kids program. From wheelchairs and walkers to adaptive equipment and safe sleeping spaces, Clinics Can Help bridges critical gaps in access and affordability, ensuring that community members can receive the resources they need to recover, participate fully in daily life and live with greater dignity—regardless of their ability to pay.
