John K. Jones named senior vice president of Residential Services; Evelinda Serrano appointed vice president of Compliance and Risk

Jones, LNHA, SHRM-CP, as senior vice president of Residential Services and Evelinda Serrano as vice president of Compliance and Risk, bringing additional leadership expertise to support MorseLife’s commitment to operational excellence, regulatory leadership and innovative, high-quality care across its senior living continuum.
Jones brings more than three decades of executive leadership experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) to his new role. His experience spans operations, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, human resources and community development.
At MorseLife, Jones will oversee the strategic direction, resident satisfaction, operational performance, compliance, governance, financial results and brand positioning for more than 500 senior living units across luxury and affordable residences, including The Levin Palace, Tradition at MorseLife and Resnick and Goldsmith. In his new role, Jones will focus on building on the strong services already in place while working with colleagues to further enhance the resident experience and ensure MorseLife’s services continue to meet the changing needs and expectations of those it serves.

Serrano brings more than 22 years of health care experience to MorseLife, including 13 years focused on leading comprehensive compliance, quality and risk management programs. Her background spans acute care hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, specialized services for children with autism and senior living.
As vice president of Compliance and Risk, Serrano oversees programs that help ensure MorseLife provides safe, high-quality care while meeting regulatory requirements. She leads efforts related to resident safety, compliance, risk management, regulatory readiness, accreditation, investigations, policy development and quality improvement across MorseLife’s six areas of service: assisted living, memory care, PACE, long-term care, skilled nursing and independent living. She also works across clinical and operational teams to support a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
