September 17, 2026 – Internal medicine physician Anabel Botwinick, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Concierge Medicine. Her practice centers on women’s health across the lifespan, with a special interest in perimenopause and menopause management, including complex cases involving early menopause, high-risk patients and cancer survivors navigating hormone-related symptoms and long-term health. She also provides comprehensive primary care for adults, with an emphasis on preventive medicine and addressing risk factors before disease develops.
As part of her collaboration with Baptist Health Cancer Care, Dr. Botwinick will provide specialized menopause care through the Women’s Cancer Center for women undergoing cancer treatment, cancer survivors and patients participating in high-risk screening programs.
During her internal medicine residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System/Veterans Affairs, Dr. Botwinick became a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and presented research examining gaps in women’s health training among residents across primary care-facing specialties at The Menopause Society’s annual conference. Her findings informed the development of a dedicated women’s health elective for internal medicine residents at her training program. She also began training in functional medicine.

Dr. Botwinick earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Alongside her residency training, she completed a clinical scholar fellowship with the Academy for Advanced Women’s Health Medicine, which included advanced clinical training with nationally recognized leaders in women’s health. Through this training, she developed expertise in comprehensive, individualized care spanning menopause and hormone therapy, sexual health, bone health, cancer survivorship and long-term healthy aging. She is a member of The Menopause Society, Alpha Omega Alpha, Iron Arrow Honor Society and Sigma Xi Honor Society.
Dr. Botwinick believes personalized care begins with truly knowing her patients, listening closely, understanding their history and goals, and grounding every recommendation in evidence. “I believe that with the right care, patients can feel their best through every one of life’s transitions,” she said. “My goal is to work alongside my patients and bring a thoughtful, evidence-based, personalized lens to every care plan, especially during times when they need that guidance most.”
