October 5, 2026 – Board-certified family medicine physician Ernesto Ricardo Ojeda, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Ricardo provides comprehensive primary care, including routine health maintenance, preventive care and chronic disease management. He has a particular interest in lifestyle medicine, disease prevention and helping patients optimize their overall health and wellness.

Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Ricardo was a family medicine physician at UCLA Venice Family Clinic and an urgent care physician with the UCLA Department of Medicine and DHS Mid Valley Comprehensive Health Center in California.

Dr. Ricardo earned his medical degree from Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Holguín in Holguín, Cuba, and completed his family medicine residency at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine in Santa Monica, California. He is board-certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, National Hispanic Medical Association and California Academy of Family Physicians.
