October 6, 2026 – Board-certified internal medicine physician Stephanie Cortina, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Cortina provides comprehensive primary care for adults, with a particular interest in preventive health care, identifying and addressing risk factors early and helping patients take an active role in maintaining their health.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Cortina completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Dr. Cortina earned her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, and completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Memorial Healthcare System. She is board-certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians, Florida Medical Association and Broward County Medical Association.
