October 8, 2026 – Hematologist and medical oncologist Ashley Marton, M.D.C.M., has joined the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute – Boynton Beach, part of Baptist Health Cancer Care. She treats a broad range of solid tumors and hematologic conditions and has a dedicated clinical focus on breast, prostate and colon cancers. She is committed to bringing the latest advances in cancer care to patients through evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Marton was a hematologist and medical oncologist at Hôpital de la Cité-de-la-Santé in Laval, Québec, Canada, and an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Montreal.

Dr. Marton earned her medical degree at McGill University in Montreal. She also completed an internal medicine residency, hematology residency and medical oncology residency at McGill University.
Dr. Marton is certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is actively involved in clinical research and has served as a principal investigator and sub-investigator for numerous oncology clinical trials. Her research interests include improving access to new therapies through clinical trials, integrating new cancer treatments into care, optimizing medical resources and exploring the role of artificial intelligence in medicine.
Dr. Marton’s care philosophy is rooted in collaboration, patient education and shared decision-making. “I view the physician-patient relationship as an equal partnership,” she said. “By aligning clinical evidence with a patient’s personal values, lifestyle and individual goals, we establish a common ground that ensures every medical decision is a confident, joint choice.”
