“Lee Health Foundation is fortunate to have trustees who are deeply committed to improving the health and well-being of Southwest Florida,” said Chris Simoneau, chief development, marketing and communications officer for Lee Health. “Their leadership, generosity, and vision help transform philanthropy into tangible impact for patients and families across our region. Together, they are helping ensure that world-class healthcare remains accessible close to home for generations to come.”

Since its establishment in 1995, Lee Health Foundation and its supporters have invested hundreds of millions of philanthropic dollars into programs, facilities, technology, research, workforce development, and patient services throughout Lee Health. Trustees serve as ambassadors for the Foundation’s mission and help foster philanthropic partnerships that directly improve healthcare outcomes across Southwest Florida.

The Foundation’s trustees bring a diverse range of expertise spanning healthcare, business, finance, law, real estate, philanthropy, and community leadership. Their collective experience strengthens the Foundation’s ability to respond to emerging healthcare needs while supporting transformational initiatives across the Lee Health system.

In addition to its trustees, the Foundation benefits from the guidance of ex-officio members representing Lee Health leadership and volunteer auxiliary organizations, as well as emeriti trustees whose longstanding service has helped shape the Foundation’s growth and impact over the years.

As Lee Health continues to expand services, invest in innovative care models, and prepare for the future healthcare needs of Southwest Florida, the Board of Trustees remains committed to ensuring philanthropy continues to accelerate those efforts and improve lives throughout the region.
