Miami Jewish Health Systems announces that Lorinie Huertas has joined the organization as the new Director of Nursing.Prior to joining Miami Jewish Health Systems, Huertas served as administrative nursing supervisor at Westchester General Hospital. In addition, she was Director of Nursing at Hampton Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and at Signature Healthcare of Waterford in Miami. Previously, she was an Administrative Nursing Supervisor at South Shore Community Hospital in Miami Beach and Nurse Manager at Washington Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center/Beverly Enterprise in Hollywood. She was also a Nursing Supervisor at Southpoint Manor in Miami Beach.
Huertas began her nursing career at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 1982 and for 10 years held positions in the Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) departments.
